Welcome to Eddie Benitez's web page!

I've graduated with an associate degree from the  (NIM) Network Information Management program back in 1999.  My career in the computer field began as a co-op student for the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District at the Instructional Technology Center as a laptop technician.  I've gained a lot of experience there, and it made me aware that from the courses taught in the NIM program and the advice/teachings of the instructors,  that I had achieved a strong and solid foundation in my computer skills. 

I will have seven years working as the CNST teaching lab assistant this September 2006, and I can say that I have gain enough experience, where I can go after some computer certifications and feel the merit about having those certification titles.  I am planning to take the CISCO CCNA test by the end of the year, from there I will continue to take college courses for my Bachelors of Applied Technology in Computer Information System at UT Brownsville .
